Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood, CA is kicking off the official season of giving by helping to feed children worldwide. On Thursday, December 18, 2008, Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood, Ca. will host a performance by Los Angeles-based folk/pop music group The Chapin Sisters, as part of Hard Rock International’s 2008 worldwide “Imagine There’s No Hunger” campaign to benefit WHY, a nonprofit organization that strives to fight against hunger and poverty in America and around the world.
The performance celebrates the release of Hard Rock’s compilation CD SERVE3, which includes an unreleased track titled “I Know It’s Over” by The Chapin Sisters. Proceeds from the event, SERVE3 and additional “Imagine There’s No Hunger” merchandise, will be donated directly to WHY to benefit seven children’s charities in Kenya, Haiti, Indonesia, Thailand, South Africa, Venezuela and New Orleans.
