The Orchestras of Pasadena's Clazzical Notes to present "Duets" at Caltech

The Orchestras of Pasadena’s Clazzical Notes program will present “Duets” on Monday, January 12, at 7 p.m. in Caltech’s Ramo Auditorium.

The featured artists for this events are jazz singer Sherry Williams, soprano Angel Blue, and moderator Rachel Worby.

Williams has worked extensively in and around the Los Angeles and Denver areas in jazz venues, nightclubs, and festivals, and has recorded three solo CDs.

Blue is currently in her second season as a Domingo-Thornton Young Artist at L.A. Opera where she will sing the roles of Suor Osmina in Suor Angelica and Micaela in student matinee performances of Carmen.

As music director of The Pasadena POPS Orchestra, Worby has been instrumental in the expansion of the orchestra’s performance season, and its national and local profiles.
