Rick Ruben received fifth Grammy nomination
Rick Rubin has received his fifth Grammy nomination as Producer of the Year, acknowledging his work over the eligibility period with an eclectic group of artists and projects including Metallica/"Death Magnetic," Neil Diamond/"Home Before Dark," Jakob Dylan/"Seeing Things," and Weezer/"Red Album." Metallica received a total of four Grammy nominations including Best Rock Album for "Death Magnetic," Best Metal Performance for "My Apocalypse," and Best Rock Instrumental Performance for "Suicide & Redemption."Rubin took home five Grammy Awards in 2007 including Producer of the Year for his work with Dixie Chicks, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Johnny Cash.

The best album he "produced" was that Ours record.
Of course, that won't be mentioned in many news stories.
Perhaps the album won't be mentioned by the press, but thanks to you, now my readers know and can check it out.
