Solarcade to celebrate EP release with Las Vegas show

Coming up in lovely Las Vegas is Solarcade's EP release show at the House of Blues on Tuesday, February 24. The pop rock band will be promoting Songs For The Gathering, produced by Brian Reeves, (U2, Rooney, Jonas Brothers).

Solarcade is the musical partnership between South African and Las Vegas resident, vocalist Paul Van and Texan guitarist Tony Pomilla. The yin-yang duo, who are like one another's "musical spell check," form the core of the band. Their cinematic, nuanced compositions have attracted the attention of icons like Depeche Mode's Martin Gore and The Killers' Brandon Flowers, who personally selected Solarcade to open for his band's arena tour after hearing their music. While the endorsement from musical heavyweights was a huge complement and accolade for Solarcade, the band is ready for the masses to hear and appreciate what Gore and Flowers have already heard with the band's Songs for the Gathering EP.

Solarcade has paved new avenues of exposure by launching their music and videos worldwide through Medeo, a software company by Nokia Phones, as well as by establishing a licensing contract with television hits like One Tree Hill and The Ghost Whisperer. The band has also gained plenty of support from their fellow music brethren, having toured with The Killers, Puddle of Mudd, and The Airborne Toxic Event.
