Featuring talented songwriters from around the globe, the Songsalive! Showcases are the best industry secret, a great happening all around the world. Songsalive! Showcases are a very cozy, intimate and acoustic environment where media and music industry representatives often drop by to check out the latest talent. Showcase your music and support our Songsalive! national and international live events and showcases presenting songwriters and artists of original music. Showcases are conducted globally.

ABOUT THE SHOWCASE:
The Songsalive! Los Angeles Showcase features a new venue, a new date, and a new format! Songsalive returns to Hallenbeck's after a couple of years. Hallenbeck's is an well known venue for acoustic Los Angeles Songwriters and performers - they have a small stage with a great sound system, great food and drinks, it is family friendly too, with free parking on the street.

ARTISTS:
We have four performers who will be doing sets in two rounds - so nice you hear them all twice! And we'll have a short intermission in the middle for food, stretching, and conversation.

FEATURING:

Bill Dobbins
Bill Dobbins began as a singer/songwriter in the 60s and 70s, working with such performers as Emmylou Harris, Arlo Guthrie, Tim Buckley, John Hammond and Ramblin' Jack Elliott at venues like The Bitter End, Folk City, Cafe Wha?, Izzy Young's Folklore Center and the Gaslight.

Wayne Storm
Wayne Storm is an Actor/Singer//Musician/ now working as a screenwriter, and a songwriter, living in Encino, California. His resume may be seen on IMBd, and Googled @ Amazon .com, internet. You have seen him in many of the movies and television, there listed. He has several of his film scripts under option and was recently successful at the Durango Song Pitch-Fest where he placed several of his songs with music people from Nashville. Having started his career in music as a BMI songwriter, having had several artists record his tunes. He recorded on Decca and MCA records, and performed at Carnegie Hall, opening for the Dave Clark Five. He was cast in the movie “The Sting” which brought him to Hollywood. This led to a long career as a film actor.

However, His first love is music so he has returned to performing, combining his music with his self written Cowboy Poetry, which utilizes both his artistic and creative desires. Come see him perform.

Tom Renaud
Tom Renaud is a contemporary folksinger and guitarist. He particularly enjoys the challenge of one voice and one instrument making music that is whole and complete as is. His hope is heart-communication with his listeners—to strike a chord that connects with the lives of others and uplifts.

John Wilson
John Wilson is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter who believes in creating a feeling with his music. The songs from John's new release, "The Way," do just that. With the sultry and suggestive "Move On," John creates a sense of longing. With "No Exit Plan," John resigns to make the best of losing love. And with "Just Getting Started," John celebrates his family and friends. John has performed at nightclubs around LA including The Mint, The Derby and The Viper Room since Spring 2007. John has also performed at open-mics, including Kulak's Woodshed, Cafe Audrey in Hollywood, Canter's Kibbitz Room and Whisperz Cocktails.
