Featuring talented songwriters from around the globe, the Songsalive! Showcases are the best industry secret, a great happening all around the world. Songsalive! Showcases are a very cozy, intimate and acoustic environment where media and music industry representatives often drop by to check out the latest talent. Showcase your music and support our Songsalive! national and international live events and showcases presenting songwriters and artists of original music. Showcases are conducted globally.

ABOUT THE SHOWCASE
Performances take place in the Guitar Department at Sam Ash Westminster, on our showcase stage. Each performer will present three original songs. Tea and snacks will be provided for the audience. There is no admission fee for the event, but donations are gratefully accepted – Songsalive! is an all-volunteer organization. We play for tips! Your humble host is Rod O’Riley, chapter coordinator for Songsalive’s Orange County chapter.

FEATURING:
Gil Hager
Dr. Gil Hager specializes in treating soldiers injured in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. That’s the day job. But long before that, there was music. Dropping out of college in 1970, Gil spent the next few years as a traveling musician, recording his first album in 1975. After he returned to college and received his medical degree, he wrote no songs for another 20 years – until the music came calling once again in March of 1998. Since then he’s recorded several more records with a crew of skillful musicians.

Kip Corley
Kip is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He’s been performing original and cover songs in restaurants, clubs, lodges and coffeehouses in and around the OC for the last 10 years or so as a soloist and with a band called Knightlyghter. Two songs recorded by other artists so far.

Charles William
Charles William is an experienced and seasoned singer/songwriter whose songs and style has been said to reach out and grab the heart and mind. Warming and soothing to the soul, Charles’ music and lyrics are original and unique as he relates about the everyday joys and struggles that we all experience at one time or another, pulling the listener in to identify, as well as enjoy the stories and ballads. Having just moved to Southern California from Atlanta via Nashville, Charles William simply enjoys sharing his heart and soul with whomever cares to listen. A memorable and charismatic entertainer and personality who will send you home humming and singing…
