Blue Note Karaoke in San Clemente Thursday

On Thursday, May 6th, the Surfrider Foundation and Emergen-C BLUE™ will host the second annual Blue Note Karaoke at The OC Tavern in San Clemente. The Blue Note Karaoke aims to raise awareness about water quality issues and what people can do in their lives to make a big difference in a unique and fun way.

Unlike traditional Karaoke, Surfrider Foundation’s Blue Note Karaoke allows audience members to get up on stage and perform their favorite songs with the backing of a live band. To rock things a bit this year, the Surfrider Foundation has tapped KNAC/DC to perform some of the most popular heavy metal songs from the 70s, 80s and 90s.

WHO: Join Surfrider Foundation activists, volunteers and supporters, professional surfers and karaoke aficionados, including MySpace Karaoke contest winner Jennifer Hunt-Woodall to learn more about water quality issues and small changes that we can make to improve it, while getting up on stage to sing with live heavy metal karaoke band KNAC/DC.

Doors – 8:00 PM
KNAC/DC – 9:00 PM – 11:00 PM
