Eye Alaska coming to HOB Anaheim in June

Orange, CA group Eye Alaska set out on a journey to create music so undefinable that only they themselves could assign a title to their sound. Coining the phrase “cinematic rock,” the multi-genre group will show off their eclectic music with a headlining show at House of Blues - Anaheim on June 11th. This will be Eye Alaska’s first O.C. show since last year and their only O.C. summer show, so it is an event not to miss. They packed the room with amazing talent for the night with other groundbreaking artists on the bill such as Bad Rabbits, The Colourist, Stereofix and A Sound Aside – the venue will be filled with exciting, genre-less music that will leave fans and critics speechless.

Eye Alaska consists of frontman Brandon Wronski (vocals), Cameron Trowbridge (guitar/vocals), Chris Osegueda (bass), Chase Kensrue (guitar/piano/vocals), and Han Ko (drums). After forming in 2006 and recording their first EP, Yellow & Elephant in 2008, the group has taken a huge leap into the spotlight gaining respect for being extreme musical experimentalists.

With the release of their debut album, Genesis Underground in Summer 2009, Eye Alaska showcased their grandiose-yet-meticulous blended sound. They released a music video for their single “Walk Like A Gentleman,” see it here:

The group has kept extremely busy, perfecting their live performance and touring the country extensively. They recently returned from a stint supporting OC-based Saosin on PacSun’s annual PacTour as well as a full set of Kanye West covers at Hoodwink and a slot on the Bamboozle.
