Hila Plitmann to perform at Boston Court in Pasadena

Boston Court Performing Arts Center presents Grammy-winning Soprano Hila Plitmann for two performances on Saturday, May 22 at 8pm and Sunday, May 23 at 7pm. The performances will take place in the Marjorie Branson Performance Space at Boston Court Performing Arts Center, 70 North Mentor Avenue.

Plitmann will present “An Intimate Evening of Song” for two nights, featuring art, film and pop covers Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22. Hila last appeared on Boston Court’s main stage in Eric Whitacre’s “Paradise Lost: Shadows and Wings.”

This “eclectic cabaret” will include original pieces written for her by John Corigliano, Paul Cantelon, David Del Tredici, Jason Robert Brown, and Eric Whitacre. Plitmann will also present pop covers including "Airhead" by Thomas Dolby; "All the Love in the World" by Nine Inch Nails; and "Voices Carry" by 'Til Tuesday in addition to work she has written.

The performance will be backed by a string quartet, clarinetist, Tali Tadmor on piano and original film and multi-media by Omar Crook.
