"Music Under the Stars" at Pasadena City Hall May 22

A new program on KPAS, the city of Pasadena’s cable television channel, provides information about the May 22 “Music Under the Stars” concert that is the annual gift to the community by the Pasadena POPS.

The concert, in front of Pasadena City Hall, will begin at 7 p.m. People may begin arriving as early as 5:30 p.m. to picnic or purchase dinner from gourmet food trucks; little ones will enjoy activities provided by staff from Kidspace Children’s Museum.

Hosted by Ann Erdman, the KPAS program features Paul Zdunek, CEO of Pasadena Symphony and POPS; Rachael Worby, conductor of Pasadena POPS; and tenor Dennis McNeil, who will be a guest vocalist during the concert. Also included are photos and video from last year’s concert.

The KPAS program is airing Mondays at 9 a.m., Tuesdays at 9 p.m., Wednesdays at 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Thursdays at 5 p.m., Fridays at 1 p.m., Saturdays at 1 and 5 p.m., and Sundays at 1:30 p.m.

KPAS is on channel 3 on the Charter Communications cable system in Pasadena. Streaming video of all KPAS programming can be accessed in real time by going to www.cityofpasadena.net/publicaffairs and clicking on Video Streaming.
