'Challenges of Life' to screen in Pasadena Dec. 10

Challenges of Life, a high-definition documentary, will be presented on Saturday, December 10, at 2 p.m. in Caltech’s Beckman Auditorium. This program is part of Caltech’s Science Saturdays series.

This presentation introduces the extraordinary things animals and plants must do in order to survive and reproduce. A few of the creatures featured are brown-tufted capuchins, dolphins, cheetahs, chameleons and killer whales. This stunning high-definition movie will serve as the springboard for a lively discussion about the science behind the beauty and wonder of nature. Ronnie Bryan, a graduate student in computation and neural systems at Caltech, will introduce the film and guide the post-screening discussion.

Recommended for ages 8 and up.

Tickets to this performance are priced at $5.00 (unreserved seating). Tickets can be purchased at the Caltech Ticket Office, 332 South Michigan Avenue, Pasadena.
