More entertainment coming to Altadena Feb. 23

The Coffee Gallery is in the process of greatly expanding its entertainment offerings and will soon be featuring something for the community to enjoy five nights a week. There are currently two music open mics (Fri and Sun), a comedy open mic (Tues) and a Saturday show called the "Potlikker Showcase."

Starting Feb. 23, every Thursday night we are going to be hosting "Artisan Alley." Artisan Alley is a combination music/art showcase that features:

-Two featured musical acts on the Front Stage (each one doing a 20 minute set)

-Musical open mic for all members of the community (broken into two sets, with an intermission between them)

-Featured artist whose art will hang in Conference Room for two weeks (the artist will give a talk about their art during the intermission)

-DJ spinning an eclectic blend of music throughout the show

-Fresh BBQ plates and sandwiches from Savvy Ranch Catering

All local artists are invited to submit their art work / musical offerings for consideration to be a featured artist. The organizers have already secured artists for the Conference Room into April, and musical acts for the Front Stage into late March.

The show runs from 7 - 10 p.m. There is no cover charge, though there is a $5 minimum for food/drink.
