The internationally successful Squidling Bros. Circus Sideshow is heading back to the U.S. after stunning audiences everywhere from Berlin and Austria to Switzerland, Holland, Slovenia, Croatia and Japan. The troupe is now gearing up to thrill and amaze their American audiences for a nine-city tour across the nation starting on March 1.
U.S. dates begin in California, winding its way through Oregon, Indiana and Illinois, New York, and concluding with The Squidling Bros.' hometown show "Carnivolution,” held at the Ellen Powell Tiberino Museum in West Philadelphia every second Friday of the month.
The two Philadelphia-based brothers and founding members, "Matterz Squidling The Impenetrable Music Man” and "Jelly Boy The Clown Squidling,” created The Squidling Bros. Circus Sideshow in 2007 with quirky, unforgettable monikers fitting their one-of-a kind traveling extravaganza. They soon became known for their fresh, cutting edge 21st Century rock 'n roll, dare-devilish and burlesque spin on the classic American sideshows that accompanied traveling circuses in early 20th Century—the era when the Ringling Bros. Circus merged with Barnum & Bailey.
