On Monday, March 5, PYYRAMIDS will be playing at The Echo (10pm set time) with NO, Future Ghost, and Ivan & Alyosha. PYYRAMIDS is Tim Nordwind (bass in OK Go) and singer Drea Smith, but in a live setting they play with a full band. Tim and Drea first bonded over dark British pop from the early '80s like The Smiths and Joy Division, and stranger more modern fare like Micachu and the Shapes, to give you an idea of their sound.
They released their debut EP, Human Beings, this past Halloween and just released the music video to their second single, "Don't Go," this week. Feedback so far has been fantastic and we're such huge fans of the whole EP (it's tough to determine our favorite song as it's always changing!).
