Sola Rosa, will be playing at Levitt Pavilion on July 21st in support of their new album Get It Together Remixed.
These guys hail from New Zealand, blending together sounds of hip hop, reggae, latin, jazz, soul & funk. Lead by frontman Andrew Spraggon (Best Producer nominee at the Vodafone NZ Music Awards in 2006 and 2009), alongside Spikey Tee and Lila Tomlins.
Their debut North American album -- and most ambitious to date -- Get It Together, was recently released in October 2011 with a single premiere for "Turn Around" on Baeble Music and a video premiere on PopMatters. The album burned up the charts in New Zealand landing at #1 on iTunes, #1 on the NZ Independent album chart for 4 months, and peaking at #15 on the NZ Album chart.
