Lake St., Altadena, CA 91001 – entrance in the back) on Sunday, August 26 at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $18 at the door. For Concert information and Reservations call 626-798-6236 between 10 AM and 10 PM.

About the Artists: National Touring Artists Joe Jencks, Greg Greenway and Pat Wictor have made their mark as veteran touring singer-songwriters, but Brother Sun is no songwriter's round. The trio's harmonies, as much as their lyrics, tell what they are about: warm as a campfire, stirring as a gospel church, rousing as a call to arms. Fusing folk, Americana, blues, pop, jazz, rock, and a cappella singing, Brother Sun is an explosion of musical diversity and harmony, in the finest of male singing traditions. Their combined musical skills make for an unforgettable experience - three rich voices blending on a well-crafted foundation of guitar, slide guitar, and piano.

The Trio’s self titled Album debuted at No. 2 on the Folk DJ Charts in June 2011 and has remained on the chart for 11 of the last 13 months. In addition to being the No. 8 album of 2011 on FOLK-DJ, Brother Sun made the "Best of 2011" list for over a dozen radio stations in the US, including WUMB- Boston, WFUV - NYC, and WFMT - The Midnight Special - Chicago. They are currently on a national tour and working on their next recording with Grammy winning producer Ben Wisch.

"What happens when you unite three of the best male singers in the folk realm who already revel in harmony singing? Brother Sun. While numerous delightful female trios harmonize, few men bond that way these days (unlike the days of the folk revival when they were the norm). Added to great voices, energy and sincerity are worthy compositions in three distinct styles that bring to mind a modern day gospel." - Rich Warren, WFMT, Midnight Special, Chicago, IL.

Brother Sun’s other upcoming California performances include August 24 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of San Luis Obispo in San Luis Obispo and August 25 at the Trinity Backstage Concert Series in Santa Barbara.
