Kaskade, who has been named “America’s Best DJ” by DJ Times and Pioneer DJ, will bring his sold-out show from Los Angeles’ STAPLES Center to even more fans on July 27th by making this landmark performance available by live stream on YouTube, it was announced today. The live stream will be available at 9:15PM PST/12:15 AM EST on Friday, July 27th at www.youtube.com/ultramusic , www.facebook.com/kaskade, and www.kaskademusic.com. That evening’s live performance will also be taped for a special DVD package that will be released at a later date.
"I've been preparing for this sold-out show at STAPLES Center to be one of my most epic, yet," said Kaskade. "It only seems natural to allow fans to experience it across the world through a live stream - it's the beauty of technology - I can bring this to so many more fans than just those in the arena!"
Additionally, in celebration of the evening’s events, the DJ will release a new track “Kaskade vs. Qulinez – Stars Troll” to iTunes and all other digital retailers on July 27th. The new track is a mashup of Kaskade’s “Stars Align” and Qulinez’s “Troll,” produced by Kaskade. The following week, the video footage of the STAPLES Center performance will be available as a music video on iTunes, MTV, as well as many more networks and digital retailers.
Kaskade marked an industry milestone by selling out Los Angeles’ STAPLES Center after already earning the distinction of the first Electronic Dance Artist to ever solo-headline the venue. After multiple attempts to play the Los Angeles area over the past year, the Staples show will mark Kaskade’s first proper show for the passionate Los Angeles fan base since his two back-to-back sold out shows at the Palladium in 2010.
Today, Kaskade kicks off a weeklong promotion in Tap Tap Revenge: Tour, the newest free mobile game in the wildly successful Tap Tap Revenge franchise. In the promotion, the game's new "Tour" mode will be transformed into the "Freaks of Nature" Tour, complete with an all new tent experience for players to tap, swipe and shake to the best in Electronic Dance Music. The North American “Freaks of Nature” summer 2012 tour presented by Rockstar, has been a major new production for Kaskade, reaching more than 40 cities and also selling out a number of other stops along the tour. For the new tour, Kaskade has produced a brand new stage set up that will create an electric atmosphere at venues of all sizes, bringing it to everything from ballrooms to theatres, arenas and festivals.
