An acoustic night of well-seasoned, charismatic, high-quality songwriter-performers of varying styles, backgrounds and professional credits. The night features Brit-Pop Rocker Barry Keenan (barrykeenan.com), a Roxy-Whiskey-Troubadour performer who has worked with many major song publishing companies including Warner/Chappell, Universal, All Nations, Criterion and Peer/Southern, had songs featured in the movie “Kickboxer,” and has received commercial airplay coast to coast on stations like L.A.’s KROQ & KLOS, Boston’s WCOZ and Sirius Satelite Radio. The night opens with bluesy roots-stylist Raspin Stuwart (raspin.com) whose versions of Donovan’s “Catch the Wind” and the Beatles’ “Here Comes the Sun” were used in TV series “The Wonder Years” and whose CD of his own compositions, We Do What We Do, was licensed by Starbucks and given featured play, nationally, in its stores. Between Raspin and Barry is sandwiched van-touring, contemporary folk and acoustic blues artist, Sandy Ross (sandyross.com), who has been published by Warner/Chappell, Filmways, MCA, and Screen Gems/EMI having songs recorded by Kim Carnes and Anne Murray, with her own performances of her songs topping the national folk charts. Raspin, described as “a singer that sings to the soul,” is currently performing up and down the coast of California playing venues from intimate coffee houses to theaters and large festivals; Barry, described by Music Connection as having “enough energy to light up a stadium” is currently out promoting his newly released CD, Contrary to Popular Belief, which features his song “Our Comfortable Lives” which recently stayed at #1 on the Neil Young Living With War Today Music Chart for 62 weeks; and Sandy, described as “a woman of substance” by Music Connection and a “versatile songwriter and a powerful singer” by Sing Out!, is currently working on a new CD project and dreaming of once again hitting the open road.

Song listening available on artist’s websites.
