Go Country 105 FM, Southern California’s Country Station, proudly announces the lineup for their fifth-annual Go Fest live event! Once again, Go Fest will feature today’s hottest stars along with must-see breaking talent.
Jason Aldean will headline the Saturday, September 29th show at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. Very special guest Luke Bryan will also perform. Rachel Farley will open the main stage and Dee Jay Silver will keep the party going in between sets with his signature mixes of rock and country tracks. Matt Stillwell, Amie Mangola and Matt Rogers will appear on Go Fest’s Side Stage.
Tickets for Go Fest 2012 will go on sale Friday, July 27th at 10 AM. They will be available at LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster.com, at select Live Nation and Ticketmaster retail outlets, as well as via Ticketmaster Charge-By-Phone (800.745.3000).
Multi-Platinum entertainer Jason Aldean flew up the iTunes all-genre Singles chart earlier this month to claim the No. 1 spot with his latest single, "Take A Little Ride," off his upcoming fifth studio album, due out later this fall. Aldean's 2012 tour is hitting the nation’s biggest amphitheaters this year. He is setting attendance records across the country, including his first stadium sellout in Columbus, OH. 2011 saw Aldean earn Double Platinum certification for his fourth studio album, My Kinda Party – the top-selling country full-length of the year and CMA’s Album Of The Year. With a new record on the way, Aldean is poised for even more success in 2012.
Luke Bryan’s latest album, last year’s Platinum-certified tailgates & tanlines, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. It features three back to back Platinum-certified digital singles "Country Girl (Shake It for Me)," "I Don't Want This Night to End" (also CMT’s Male Video Of The Year) and “Drunk On You.”. Later this Fall, Luke will co-host the ABC TV special, “CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock,” with The Band Perry’s Kimberly Perry. It will air on Monday, September 17th.
Rachel Farley bleeds so much life into the songs she writes and performs that you’d swear she was at least twice her age. The 17 year-old possesses a maturity that far belies her age. Rachel has been dreaming of becoming an artist practically since day one, and has spent most of those years trying to make that dream happen. And the release of her debut CD The Truth, with its wide ranging set of influences from P!nk to Patsy Cline, proves those years were not spent in vain.
