Cake to play New Year's Eve show in LA

CAKE will ring in the New Year with a performance at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles on December 31st. The evening begins at 9 pm and features special guests Polynesia Paradise and The Lucky Star. 

CAKE’s 2011 release, Showroom of Compassion, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 upon its release. The album received much acclaim with appearances on NPR’s “All Things Considered” as well as two appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno andJimmy Kimmel Live!, and performances on Conan, Late Night withJimmy Fallon, Lopez Tonight, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and CBS Interactive Music Group’s famously popular concert webcast series, Live on Letterman, followed by a performance on The Late Show with David Letterman. The first single “Sick Of You” was a Top 5 hit at both Alternative and Triple A radio for ten weeks and the animated video for the second single “Long Time” debuted on MTVU & MTV2.

CAKE is John McCrea, Vincent DiFiore, Xan McCurdy, Gabriel Nelson and Paulo Baldi.
