Merry-Achi Christmas returns to the Cerritos Center for the Performing
Arts in a colorful and traditional Mexican holiday celebration full of
seasonal songs, dance, and festive merriment. Headlining the exciting
extravaganza is the nation’s premier Sol de México de José Hernández
Mariachi, which is joined by America’s first all-female Mariachi –
Reyna de Los Angeles – and the captivating Grandeza Mexicana Folk
Ballet Company.

Join The Manhattan Transfer for a night of holiday tunes. The iconic
group made history in 1981 when it became the first band to win Grammy
Awards in two different categories in the same year. Its Top 10 single
Boy From New York City won the Pop category and Until I Met You
(Corner Pocket) was honored for “Best Jazz Performance.” In all, the
band has collected a total of eight Grammys – for hits such as
Birdland, Route 66, Why Not!, Brasil, and Sassy.

ever on Billboard’s “Hot 100.” Rimes delivers her all-time hits

Now in its 20th year, the spirited Colors of Christmas extravaganza has
continued to enchant audiences at the Cerritos Center for the Performing
Arts. The popular annual tradition returns with Grammy winner Peabo
Bryson heading a sterling cast of performers. Bryson; Soul-Pop singer
James Ingram; Grammy-winning power couple Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis,
Jr.; and singing sensation Stephanie Mills deliver a program filled with
holiday cheer and seasonal favorites.

R&B singer Phil Perry made his mark on music charts with the solo hits
Love Don’t Love Nobody; One Heart, One Love; Call Me; Amazing Love;
and Forever. Perry opens the show for The O’Jays, who put the
“Philly Soul” sound on the map. The O’Jays’ string of hits
– including Back Stabbers, Love Train, For the Love of Money, I
Love Music, and Use Ta Be My Girl – earned the band a Rock and Roll
Hall of Fame induction in 2005. The band will perform its hit songs and
holiday tunes.
