The Gallery in Hollywood Dec. 16

Massachusetts’ rock band, The Gallery who features Brendan Cooney (lead vocals/guitar), Ryan Cooney (drums), Dave Mozdzanowski (bass/bg vocals), and Ben Lozano (lead guitar) will be heading out on the road this winter for a selective run. The band will be performing new songs from their upcoming full-length album, which will be released early next year. The band has been busy in the studio working with recording producer, Warren Huart (Aerosmith, The Fray, Augustana, James Blunt). Huart just worked on the new Aerosmith record with producer Jack Douglas, and is currently also recording contestants from The X Factor.
The band will also be featured on "The Live Show" on KXSC radio (USC) in Los Angeles on Friday, December 7th from 1pm-2pm. This is broadcast live from Tommy's Place (venue/bar) in the USC campus center.
The Gallery’s hook-laden rock songs combine a mix of mainstream appeal and professionalism with indie cred and likability. Rolling Stone has described their sound as “Big, shout-along choruses and bluesy guitar breakdowns” while Alternative Press Magazine compared them to Tom Petty. "These Western Massachusetts natives take honest, straight-ahead rock'n'roll back to its jangling roots. Miss the days when Tom Petty ruled the chart? So do these guys, but they're giving some pretty good hope of reviving the Great American Rock Band,” raved AOL Spinner.
The band has maintained their hometown fan base in New England, while building a similar following in Southern Florida, where they resided for three years. In 2009, the group set out on the road for their first national tour – a full 50 dates across 25 different states. Since then, they’ve expanded their fan base across the country, playing shows from Florida to Washington and California to Massachusetts. The band has played with such well-known artists as Minus the Bear, Rooney, The Maine, and Sam Roberts.
Recently, The Gallery was featured on Coldplay's "Hypnofeed" (one video a day) September 19, 2012. http://www.coldplay.com/hypno.php?id=389It is one of the all-time top 10 most "liked" videos featured on the site. Top 10 here: http://www.coldplay.com/hypnofeedtop10.php (#6)
