LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS & MC COY RIGBY ENTERTAINMENT bring you the most “Wonder”ful holiday treat of the season with WINTER WONDERETTES, created and directed by Roger Bean, choreography by John Vaughan and musical direction by Brian Baker. WINTER WONDERETTES will preview on Friday, December 7, 2012 (with a press opening on Saturday, December 8) and runs through Sunday, December 30, 2012 at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd in La Mirada.
It’s Christmas and the Wonderettes are back! The ladies are entertaining at the annual Harper’s Hardware Holiday Party. When Santa turns up missing, the girls must use their talent and creative ingenuity, plus some great holiday tunes such as “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Run, Rudolph, Run,” “Winter Wonderland” and 20 other seasonal favorites, to save their holiday party. The result is, of course, marvelous! This energetic and entertaining show is guaranteed to delight audiences of all ages!
WINTER WONDERETTES will begin performances on Friday, December 7, 2012 and runs for four weeks through Sunday, December 30.
Performances will be 7:30pm on Wednesdays & Thursdays; 8pm on Fridays; 2pm and 8pm on Saturdays; and 2pm on Sundays.
There will be no matinee performance on Saturday, December 8. Talkbacks with the actors will be on Wednesday, December 12 and Wednesday, December 26.
Tickets range from $20 - $70 and can be purchased at La Mirada Theatre’s website, www.lamiradatheatre.
LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS is located at 14900 La Mirada Boulevard in La Mirada, near the intersection of Rosecrans Avenue where the 91 and 5 freeways meet. Parking is free.
