4th of July fun at Langham Huntington, Pasadena

The Langham Huntington, Pasadena is offering a number of fun-filled activities this weekend including BBQ by the pool and a Kids’ Cooking Class, perfect for your family’s 4th of July celebrations.

Thursday, July 4
On Independence Day, the hotel will offer a Summer BBQ menu for lunch and dinner at The Hideaway Pool Bar, including: Slow Smoked Brisket; Grilled Chicken; BBQ Pork Ribs; BBQ Pulled Mushroom Sandwich; Grilled Fish Tacos; Grilled Hot Dogs; and Grilled Burgers, with an assortment of seasonal sides and decadent desserts.  The BBQ menu is available from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The Hideaway Pool Bar will also feature $6 Happy Hour drink specials on signature cocktails such as the 81 calorie Veev Light, the Mango Tango Margarita, Peach Sangria, Bacardi Blast, Hendrix Smash and The Huntington.
Guests can also enjoy live music in The Tap Room featuring the Peter Smith Trio from 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. and Bacardi drink specials.

Friday, July 5
On Friday, July 5, guests can enjoy the Summer BBQ menu at The Hideaway Pool Bar for lunch and dinner, $6 Happy Hour drink specials at The Hideaway Pool Bar and live jazz in the Tap Room from 9:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.

Saturday, July 6
Pastry Chef John Quinn will host a “Flavors of the Fourth!” Kids’ Cooking Class at 10:00 a.m. for children 8-12. $60 per child includes two hours of cooking instruction, recipe preparation, baking techniques and pastry presentation. Sunday, July 7
On Sunday, July 7, The Royce Wood-Fired Steakhouse will offer a Sunday Market Brunch from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. for $85 per person or $65 per person without alcoholic beverages. The Royce’s Sunday Market Brunch is a unique, interactive brunch experience like no other in Los Angeles, including flowing Mimosas and Bloody Marys, and bountiful displays of Smoked Salmon, Bagels, Seasonal Fruit and Pastries. Lively chef action stations inside the kitchen invite guests to enjoy made-to-order brunch delicacies such as Frittatas and Omelets, Steak and Eggs Benedict, Cote de Boeuf, which is carved to order, Truffled Potato Cakes, Bacon and Sausage, Brioche French Toast, Caesar Salad, Heirloom Tomatoes, Chilled Shrimp, Grilled Salmon and Decadent Desserts. The Terrace will present a Dim Sum Brunch from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. for $42 per person, which includes a selection of authentic Dim Sum such as Pork Bao, Shrimp Shu Mai, Wontons, Pot Stickers, Shrimp Har Gow and Congee; a made-to-order omelet station; scrambled eggs, waffles, breakfast meats, vegetables and potatoes, fresh fruit, cereal and pastries; smoked fish and cheese, orange juice, coffee and tea. The Lobby Lounge will serve a decadent Chocolate Afternoon Tea from noon – 4:00 p.m. for $59 per adult ($29.50 per child).
