Because Gaby cannot speak a unique and entertaining presentation of the reading has been created.
Instead
of the usual reading in which the writer discusses his work, we have
two young actors to read the parts of Kelly and Kalina.
Kelly
is a young writer who has gone to Europe to be come the next
Hemingway. Only he finds himself out of money in Monaco. Six hundred
miles from the Paris American Express office where the next check from
his publisher may be waiting. His only way of getting there is with his
thumb and his Keds.
On
the way he meets and falls in love with Kalina, a gorgeous Gypsy. She
teaches him how to survive on the road Gypsy style. And, she introduces
him to the world of the Gypsy. A strange and wonderful life he never
imagined existed. But, can their love survive the culture clash of her
Gypsy life with his Kansas Midwestern moralities?
We hope you can join us for this unusual book reading.
