Newly formed Cavemen Group presents The Lost 80s Live Tour’s Long Beachstop. The company is excited to bring the festival to Southern California as its first official event. The company is made up of Music Industry Veterans Vince Pileggi of Music Inc, Scott Tucker of Sellout Productions, Laszlo from Sonic Depth, Mike Howard of Xcel Consulting and Carlyle Renaud of 4th Dimension Media. The event is also in association with C.A.L.B. the Cultural Alliance of Long Beach and Millworks founded by John and Michelle Molina both groups are dedicated to economic and cultural growth in Long Beach.
A Flock of Seagulls, famed for their string of international hit singles including: “I Ran,” “Space Age Love Song,” “Wishing” and “The More You Live, The More You Love.” In 2003 the original band members returned for a performance on the VH1 series, Bands Reunited. A Flock of Seagulls is currently performing on tour with original singer Mike Score and various other musicians.
Trans-X is famed for being one of the creators of the sound that DJs and producers refer to as Electro and their international hit “Living on Video”. Trans-X has influenced the sound of punk, new wave, house/techno, rock and pop and had enormous impact on today's electronic music.
When in Rome (UK), an English New Wave group best known for hit singles including: “The Promise,” “Heaven Knows,” “Everything,” and “Sight of Your Tears.”
Their hit single “The Promise” is widely received as one of the best pop songs of the 80s. The song was employed as the end title sequence for the hit movieNapoleon Dynamite in 2004.
Gary Myrick rose to fame with the hit singles: “She Talks in Stereo” featured in the movie ValleyGirl and his other hit single “Living in a Movie.” He uniquely blends new wave with rock to add an unprecedented energy to his music. Myrick was nominated for a Grammy for his contribution to John Waite’s “No Brakes” album, which he co-wrote 6 songs and performed on guitars and backing vocals.
Boingo Dance Party featuring former members of Oingo Boingo. This high-octane band is best known for hits that keep the fans dancing like: “Dead Man's Party,” “Just Another Day,” “Little Girls,” and “Only A Lad”. Vatos Boingo Dance Party, which features former band members Sam "Sluggo" Phipps on sax, John Avila on bass, Carl Graves on keyboards, vocals, Doug Lacy on accordion and percussion and Johnny Vatos driving rhythm on drums...
Animotion is a new wave/pop-rock band who achieved international success with hit singles: "Obsession" and “Room to Move.” They have toured with popular headliners such as INXS, Depeche Mode and Genesis.
The Flirts, three-girl band is best known for their hit songs: "Passion," "Danger," "Helpless" and "Jukebox (Don't Put Another Dime)."
Naked Eyes is a British new wave band, best known for its four top 40 singles: "(There's) Always Something There to Remind Me", "Promises, Promises”, "When the Lights Go Out," and "(What) In the Name of Love." Surviving member of the group, Pete Byrne, continues to use the group’s name and keep their music alive.

MCing the Lost 80’s Live event will be radio talent and DJ, Richard Blade. He has been entertaining audiences for more than thirty years. Blade is known by millions for his hosting duties spanning nearly 18 years at KROQ in Los Angeles, KNAC and Star 98.7. He is currently hosting First Wave, a classic alternative show daily on Sirius XM Satellite Radio. Over the years Blade has played thousands of clubs and events, from corporate get-togethers to major clubs in Spain, New York,London to Los Angeles. Blade brings his extensive knowledge of MCing and music to every event he plays making it extra special for all in the audience.
