The Long Table food & wine fest in Pasadena Aug. 24

The Long Table: A Playhouse District Food & Wine Celebration inaugural event will take place on Saturday, August 24 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at 561 E. Green St. The communal dining table will run one city block where diners will be able to enjoy epicurean fare, refreshing drinks, and wonderful music while being seated under the Green St. tree canopy.

Pasadena’s longest table celebrates the simple pleasure of great food, wine and, wonderful company in a beautiful outdoor setting. Seven District businesses will take part in the Long Table event which include: Le Cordon Bleu, Monopole Wine, Settebello, Urth Caffe, El Portal, Roy’s and Tender Greens. Each of the participating restaurants will focus on a specific course that highlights their restaurants’ cuisine.

In addition, wine tasting will be featured and a special wine selection will be available to accent the food. Beer will also be available. MUSE/IQUE will add to the evening with strolling musicians to provide added ambience to the community faire.

“The Playhouse District Association is looking forward to the August 24th sit down dinner.  Every detail of the Long Table is being planned out for a perfect feast.  The food, lighting, flowers and music will set the stage for a phenomenal annual event on Green Street,” says Erlinda Romo, Playhouse District Executive Director.

The Long Table is being produced by the Playhouse District Association. The Playhouse District Association is a property-based business district encompassing 32 blocks in the heart of Downtown Pasadena incorporated in 1995.
