Forever Festival online music concert kicks off Aug. 4

IROCKE.COM, the #1 source for live digital concerts worldwide, announces FOREVER FESTIVAL, an unprecedented, seven-day live digital concert experience celebrating the musicians, fans, and pioneers leading the explosive global growth of live digital concerts.  More than 200 million viewers around the world have experienced live digital concerts via Internet connected devices such as computers, smartphones, TVs, and game consoles since 2012. 

On August 4, 2013 at 5:00pm PST, the FOREVER FESTIVAL kicks-off a weeklong live broadcast of music performances available for viewing on the official festival site and festival partner sites.  Artist and venue line-ups will be announced on July 25, 2013.   Additional information and updates are available on the official Forever Festival website and by following #4EVRFEST. 

Forever Festival viewers will enjoy over 200 free and PPV performances by a wide range of artists collaborating with live digital concert venues around the world including: Austin City Limits Live; Beta Nightclub; Beatport Live; The Bing Lounge; Bulldog Digital Media; Concert Window; Livebeats; MoonTunes; MobileRider; The Roxy Theatre;; Silverback Music and Management; Springboard Productions;; Stageit; Stageside Live; TRI Studios; USTREAM, and more.   

The Forever Festival will be anchored from four live broadcast hubs across the globe and directed by visionaries in the live digital concert industry.  They include:

The North American Hub, based in Los Angeles, is produced and directed by Allen Sanford, co-founder and COO of IROCKE. 

The Sub-Saharan Hub, based in Johannesburg, South Africa, is produced and directed by Eban Oliver, founder of SkyRoomLive in partnership with NOKIA MUSIC and SABC1 television network.  

The European Hub, based in Berlin, is produced by Mr. Oliver and directed by Leon Reteif of SkyRoomLive Berlin in partnership with “the nhow music” and lifestyle hotel Berlin. 

The South American Hub is produced and directed by Clinton Cox, CEO of Cheetah Lounge, a veteran of premium live video production for festivals including ULTRA Music Festival, Bang Music Festival and artists such as Daft Punk, Swedish House Mafia, and others. 

Leaders in the live digital music industry will share their insights during the Forever Festival’s SOUND & VISION event broadcast on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 5pm PST.  Participants include: Roger McNamee, musician and venture capitalist; Jay Samit, President, ooVoo, a live video platform serving over 80 million consumers; Peter  Csathy, CEO, Manatt Digital Media Ventures; Marc Scarpa, executive producer/director of Simplynew; John Petrocelli, co-founder Bulldog Digital Media; and Caroline Burruss, VP of partnerships for Austin City Limits Live. 

The SOUND & VISION series is presented by the Live Digital Music Association (LiveDMA), a trade association dedicated to the advancement of the live digital music industry.

Bands, musicians, DJ’s and venues interested in participating in the Forever Festival are invited to submit performance videos at  Each submission will be considered for twenty-five available artist showcase performance slots during the festival.
