Dillinger Escape Plan postpones upcoming tour due to Ben Weinman's injury during video shoot

THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN have been forced to postpone their upcoming tour plans in support of their forthcoming full length, Ire Works, due to a severe injury incurred by DEP guitarist Ben Weinman during a recent video shoot.

Weinman states, "Unfortunately due to a freak accident during our video shoot I managed to break my foot pretty severely. After two doctor's visits, it is clear that we will have to postpone our US and European tour until a later date. New dates will be posted soon and we promise to come back bigger and better then ever."

THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN recorded Ire Works with long-time engineer Steve Evetts at Evetts’ Omen Room Studios in Los Angeles, CA. The band has unveiled the first preview track and album opener “Fix Your Face” exclusively via the band’s MySpace: www.MySpace.com/DILLINGERESCAPEPLAN. Ire Works is set for a November 13 North American release date, November 12 internationally.
