My American Heart hits the road in support of latest release

After spending the summer on the Vans Warped Tour, San Diego, California’s MY AMERICAN HEART return to the road October 25 for the fall U.S. "Pure Volume/Rise From the Ashes" club tour in support of their second album HIDING INSIDE THE HORRIBLE WEATHER, released earlier this year via Warcon Entertainment. MY AMERICAN HEART will support Quietdrive on most dates, with headlining shows November 5 at New York’s Knitting Factory and November 19 at Mojoes Coffee House in Chicago.
Hiding Inside the Horrible Weather was produced by James Paul Wisner (Dashboard Confessional, Underoath, The Academy Is…) and features the lead single “The Shake (Awful Feeling).” The metaphorically titled disc--implying that beauty inherently lies in all things--is a striking mix of hooky, driving rock, engaging pop sensibilities and introspective acoustic ballads.
