Libby Lavella, LA's Resident Aussie, Releases 2nd LP, Sometime In Morning and Plays Oct 18 @ The Bitter End in NYC for CMJ Festival
LA, by way of Australia, Libby Lavella has been around the world massing inspiration for her music. Sometime In Morning (Tall Poppy), the follow-up to 2005's Sponge Brain comes out today. From winning estedfords in Australia to studying in Italy to attending to Berklee to finally settling in Los Angeles, Libby's definitely got plenty of world influences in her folk-tinged pop.
Libby will be performing at The Bitter End at 7pm on October 18th during CMJ Marathon 2007. This will be her only NYC performance, but you'll definitely see her about town as her love of all things musical drives her to attend as many shows and parties as possible during the Marathon.
