Ea Philippa's album now available

Succulent queen of the elves. Sensuous, seductive and trembling with sweetness, she weaves magical melodies and sophisticated fairytale pop, with a glowing look in her eye behind the piano. Storytelling stringers, singing sirens and powerful beats surround her. Ea Philippa and her 9 women orchestra of strings, choir and percussion seduce and bewitch. They open up a door to a world far from here, and the listeners are wrapped in magic and fairytales. Her first and critically praised album "Fjerne Himle" is now available throughout the world through www.cdbaby.com and Itunes. It has been described by the Danish press, as "the sound of lovemaking angels" and "a splendid piece of work". The album was chosen as "Album of the month" in the French radio program Rockomondo, who described it as "one of the best surprises of the year". Ea Philippa released the album on her own label Belliana, and wrote, arranged and produced it herself.

Ea Philippa's talent is tuned on a frequency out of reach for the traditional genre categories. With elegance and ingenuity she mixes rock and pop with dramatic chamber music inspired arrangements, rattling sensuous beats and manifold vocal developments over a wide register. Her voice ranges from spherical to raw and temperamental, to tempting sly and amorous - like a black she-cat. And in this tension field the real magic evolves, and captures you in its velvet iron grip. It is a female ensemble that dares to stand by the womanly power and beauty. That dares to open up and show, what infinitely delicate and strong material they are made of. That wants to reveal the wisdom and mystery that has been sleeping its beauty sleep within the female spheres throughout generations.
