Tim McGraw will begin filming in Los Angeles today his supporting role in the New Line Cinema film Four Christmases, which is set for release during the 2008 Christmas season. This is McGraw’s fifth movie project- Black Cloud (2003), Friday Night Lights (2004), Flicka (2006) and The Kingdom (2007).
Four Christmases stars Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn as a couple who after years of avoiding their families during the holidays are forced to visit all four of their divorced parents’ homes on Christmas Day. McGraw plays “Dallas,” a brother to Vaughn’s character.
The film’s original screenplay was written by Matt Allen and Caleb Wilson and is produced by Spyglass Entertainment’s Gary Barber, Roger Birnbaum and Jonathan Glickman along with Witherspoon and Vaughn. The movie also stars Robert Duvall, Sissy Spacek, Mary Steenburgen and Jon Voight as the divorced parents and Jon Favreau, Kristen Chenoweth and Dwight Yoakam in additional supporting roles.
