Ace Frehley coming to House of Blues and working on new album

He's been sneaking back into our consciousness. We've seen him blast riff-driven fireworks in a nationally syndicated Dunkin' Donuts Ad. He laid his cards out for VH1's Rock And Roll Celebrity Tournament. He teased us with a taste of his live show at New York's Hard Rock Café on Halloween. Throughout 2007, Ace Frehley has just been preparing us for his master plan.

Legendary guitarist Frehley, a founding member of KISS, will be blasting into House of Blues on March 25 in West Hollywood.

A solo artist since the mid-eighties, the public has been awaiting the next Ace album since 1990's Trouble Walkin'. Nearly 20 years later, his as-yet-to-be-titled album will be unleashed in 2008. Considering two decades have passed, Ace promises this will cure the hunger for his devilishly delicious rock n' roll material.

"I haven't put out a solo album in a long time" he says, "and I made sure this one is special."

Debuting his new live band: Derrek Hawkins (Guitar), Anthony Esposito (Bass), and Scot Coogan (Drums), this Rocket Ride will continue into 2008.

Ace Frehley will be performing in Southern California for two dates only.
House of Blues Anaheim on Saturday, March 22
House of Blues Sunset Strip on Tuesday, March 25
