Background
Bulgarian-born violinist Neli Nikolaeva and Taiwanese-born pianist Rose Chen are good friends and graduate students at the USC Thornton School of Music. Neli studies on full scholarship with Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra Concertmaster Margaret Batjer. She has served as a concertmaster of the YMF Debut Orchestra, USC Thornton Symphony, Crossroads Chamber Orchestra, and International Youth Orchestra in Italy. Rose Chen is the much-loved pianist of the Blue Rose Trio.
