DATE: Normally Third Tuesdays of Month. For March, it will be on SATURDAY March 8th as Guest Speaker, president of Songsalive! and artist, GILLI MOON, will be with us, speaking on "The Path To Artist Empowerment" and performing. This will be a Workshop and Showcase.

"THE PATH TO ARTIST EMPOWERMENT"
A self-empowering workshop in surviving and succeeding in the Arts with key business principles and spiritual nourishment. Topics covered include music production, promotion, marketing, touring, image and artist development, surviving the industry, staying motivated, defining success on one's own terms, how to develop the right relationships, overcoming obstacles, and many more. Gilli will also be critiquing your best songs for potential publishing placement in L.A's film and TV world. Please come prepared with lyrics and CD copies for her to take with her.
GILLI MOON:
Known for her maverick nature, gilli moon is a singer, songwriter, recording artist, producer, author, entrepreneurial record company CEO (Warrior Girl Music) plus President and co-founder of Songsalive!, the non profit organization supporting and promoting songwriters worldwide, which she co-founded in 1997 with Roxanne Kiely in Sydney, Australia. Gilli has since gone on to establish 15 chapters across the United States, Europe and Canada delivering monthly songwriting critique workshops, performance showcases and many other programs and services for songwriters and composers.
Well-known for her dynamic live music performances, gilli moon now has 4 multi-faceted studio albums to her credit and has received numerous press for her courage, power and dynamic energy as an artist and inspiration for other artists.
