The Levi's/Fader Fort set for March 12-15 in Austin

Levi's® Brand and The FADER magazine have announced the return of The Levi's® / FADER FORT, a venue for the best in emerging music to take place in Austin from March 12th - 15th. Acts performing this year include Saul Williams, Birdmonster, Santogold, The Kills and Does It Offend You, Yeah? (a full line-up is forthcoming).
Located on East 4th Street in the center of downtown Austin, this is the seventh year that Levi's® has partnered with The FADER in Austin. In past years, the Levi's® /FADER space in Austin has gained a strong reputation as the showcase for the best in today's music, as well being a hassle-free retreat for festival goers--morning, noon and late-night.
Designed as a haven for musicians looking to relax, the VIP areas are places where top acts and artists unwind. Jeff Leeds of the New York Times called last years Levi's® /FADER Fort "One of the most comfortable places to hear music."
In addition, Guitar Center will be providing all bands visiting the Levi's Fader Fort with an onsite professional guitar tech: the Guitar Center Axe-Smith. This is a 100% free service for musicians-- from complete set-ups and minor repairs to intonation and truss-rod adjustments.
Additional sponsors this year Include Ray Ban, Puma, Sparks, Bass and Southern Comfort.
Through bringing a unique and vast array of musical performers and entertainers to the festival in past years, the Levi's brand and The FADER have acquired a strong reputation for presiding over the "it" place to be. Past years have boasted performances by Amy Winehouse, Redman, Feist, The Good, The Bad And The Queen, The Decemberists, Ghostface, Snow Patrol, The Meat Puppets, The Fratellis, Lady Sovereign, Twilight Singers, Gomez, Lupe Fiasco, Secret Machines, MIA, Dirty Pretty Things, Paul Wall, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Badly Drawn Boy, Charlatans UK and The Eagles Of Death Metal.
