CMT announces further ticket opportunities for the 2008 CMT MUSIC AWARDS from the Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau and CMT ONE COUNTRY. Hosted by music’s hottest father and daughter, Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley Cyrus, the 2008 CMT MUSIC AWARDS air live from Nashville’s Curb Event Center at Belmont University on Monday, April 14 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT* on CMT and CMT.com. Including performances by Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Sugarland, Taylor Swift and Toby Keith, as well as Billy Ray and Miley, with more performances to be announced, the 2008 CMT MUSIC AWARDS continues to be the genre’s only fan-voted awards.

Additional ticket packages will be available via an online auction from CMT’s pro-social initiative, CMT ONE COUNTRY. Beginning today, visitors to CMTAUCTIONS.com will have the opportunity to bid on ticket packages that include tickets to the 2008 CMT MUSIC AWARDS, a stay in Nashville hotel, a pre-show dinner at a local restaurant, a souvenir laminate as well as ground transportation to and from the show. A dedicated guest services representative will accompany purchasers during all show-related activities. Proceeds from this online auction will be donated to CMT ONE COUNTRY’s non-profit partners.
