Lyrics Born on tour

In April, Lyrics Born released arguably his best -- and definitely his funkiest, grooviest and booty-shakingest -- record yet with Everywhere At Once.

The first single off the record is the unbelievably catchy “I Like It, I Love It,” and Lyrics Born recently teamed with Neon masterminds Nabil Elderkin and John Pina (Common, Kanye West, John Legend) to create a video for the track. The results serve to highlight LB’s overflowing charisma and mad acting skills, as he gets down as a wizard, a hippie and Mr. T, among others. MTVu, the video channel that plays on college campuses across the country, has naturally fallen for the video, which is currently receiving 40 to 50 spins a week – Summa Cum Laude rotation.

On Friday, Lyrics Born departs for France to kick off a month-long European tour, immediately followed by a number of dates in Australia. He arrives back just in time to perform at San Francisco’s Outside Lands music and arts festival alongside the likes of Radiohead, Beck and Wilco. Expect a US tour later in the year.
