NORMA JEAN
On the “Route 66” Mainstage

NORMA JEAN have entered the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart at #29 by selling over 16,000 copies in one week of their much-anticipated fourth album THE ANTI MOTHER.

Atlanta’s post-hardcore outfit NORMA JEAN--who are currently wrapping up their Vans Warped Tour mainstage run on this year’s tour--have been debuting songs from THE ANTI MOTHER live to fans all summer long.

Released on indie Solid State records, the group teamed with producer Ross Robinson (At The Drive In, Glassjaw) for THE ANTI MOTHER which also features separate collaborations with Page Hamilton of Helmet (“The Opposite of Left and Wrong”) and Chino Moreno of Deftones (“Surrender Your Sons”).

BEAT UNION
On the HURLEY.com Stage

BEAT UNION is anything but DISCONNECTED, to borrow the title of the British band’s U.S. debut album, released this spring via indie label Science.

On tour all summer on the Vans Warped Tour’s HURLEY.com stage, the band--which “combines youthful energy with an attentiveness to songcraft that is inspiring,” raved Outburn magazine (2008)--have announced a major nationwide U.S. tour supporting Flogging Molly. It gets underway September 15 in Sayreville, NJ at the Starland Ballroom with high profile shows on September 16 in Philadelphia (Electric Factory), September 24 in Dallas (House of Blues), September 25 in Houston (Verizon Wireless Theatre) and Anaheim, CA (House of Blues) and many more (see full itinerary below). After the Flogging Molly U.S. run, the Birmingham band will launch a U.K. trek with Less Than Jake beginning November 2.

Critics quotes:

"Beat Union, a promising English new wave/punk/ska quartet that hails from Birmingham, is definitely another one to watch at this year's Warped. ...Disconnected, produced by Goldfinger's John Feldmann, bears traces of late '70s-era Jam, Clash, Elvis Costello, Joe Jackson, Squeeze and The Police. The sharp album is one of the best debuts of '08 thus far. They should go down a storm on the Hurley.com stage. "

“reggae guitars punched out Clash-style…” –Chuck Eddy, ROLLINSTONE.COM (7/17)
