Ink'd Chronicles to hold Tattoos for the Cure

Ink’d Chronicles presents its first anniversary event: Tattoos for the Cure

Join Terry Dipple and the artists at Ink’d Chronicles on Saturday, November 8, 2008 for Tattoos for the Cure. The artists will be tattooing pink breast cancer awareness ribbons and other designs as requested with all of the proceeds from the event going to the Breast Health Program at the Robert and Beverly Lewis Family Cancer Care Center.

Breast cancer touches everyone and Terry Dipple is no different. Recently the love-of-his-live was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is being treated at the Robert and Beverly Lewis Family Cancer Care Center, which is part of Pomona Valley Community Hospital and her prognosis is good. To show his love and support, Terry got a pink breast cancer awareness ribbon tattoo. His daughter, Tess who works at Ink’d Chronicles as a piercer also got one.

During the past several weeks, Terry has seen how the center provides a comprehensive state-of-the-art treatment program including a full spectrum of clinical and support services, from screening and diagnosis to treatment and counseling. He also learned the center is dedicated to offering easy access to the most advanced, current breast health care in the Pomona Valley/Inland Empire as well as compassion and knowledge in caring for the whole person.

Terry was moved to organize Tattoos for the Cure to benefit the center.

What can you do to help? Become a corporate or individual sponsor of the event by contacting Terry Dipple. Corporate and individual sponsorship levels range from $100-$1,000 and no tattoo is involved. Sponsors will receive tickets to the VIP party being held the night of the event. Or you can sign up and get a breast cancer awareness ribbon or other tattoo in honor of a family member or friend at Tattoos for the Cure on November 8, 2008. Tattoo minimum is $80, depending on size. The event is from 12:00 PM to 11:30 PM and will include raffles, prizes and music. All proceeds will go to the Breast Health Program at the Robert and Beverly Lewis Family Cancer Care Center.
