Secondhand Serenade back on the road already

Secondhand Serenade will barely catch a breath after wrapping their current headlining tour, as a co-headlining tour with Cute Is What We Aim For has just been announced. MySpace, the world’s premier social network, will present over thirty shows during the six-week, outing, along with Hot Topic as an additional sponsor. Please see all Secondhand Serenade tour dates below.

Secondhand Serenade, aka John Vesely, is having a stellar year, which has propelled the former #1 unsigned artist on MySpace to a Top 10 artist with a certified gold single, approaching platinum. Secondhand Serenade’s smash single, “Fall for You,” is #8 on the CHR/Pop Radio Charts and is one of the Top 10 requested songs at Z100/NYC, KHFI/Austin, KBKS/Seattle and KDWB/Minneapolis, to name a few. "Fall For You" has been as high as #6 on the iTunes Top 100 Singles Chart and has been in the top 20 for over two months. The video is in rotation at VH1, Music Choice, MTV Hits and FUSE. Secondhand Serenade has performed the song live on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Kimmel Live and the CBS Early Show. Newsday recently commented “”Fall for You” is a pretty piano-driven ballad, dripping with emotion but anchored by unshakable hooks. It could easily become both... “Hey There Delilah” and “Vindicated” rolled into one.”

Glassnote/ILG will be releasing a CD/DVD Deluxe Edition of Secondhand Serenade’s A Twist In My Story with new packaging, new songs, acoustic versions, music videos and bonus material in February 2009. More details to be announced in the near future.

MySpace Music centers around the more than six million major, indie, and unsigned artists that use their MySpace music profiles to communicate and intimately connect with fans and friends. Each music profile empowers artists to upload video content, blog, post tour dates, lyrics, and make their music available to fans for stream or download. As one of the most popular and most trafficked music platforms in the world, MySpace Music has evolved into an offline experience by connecting bands and fans around the world through various concert series and live events including Secret Shows, MySpaceLIVE, Front to Back and The List.
