With the help of pet expert, Charlotte Reed, the first program supports an innovative set of mobile Web sites, Purina.mobi and go2 Pets, which help people and their pets to have fun wherever they go by giving them locations of pet-friendly businesses, keeping them up-to-date on the latest pet news or providing training tips right when they need them.
The second program focuses on permanent pet adoption and Victoria Stilwell, host of “It’s Me or the Dog” on Animal Planet and judge for the CBS show the “Great American Dog,” is helping out. Purina and Adopt-a-Pet.com, a non-profit pet adoption charity, worked together to create a “Permanent Pet Adoption” checklist, which provides tips to ensure a successful adoption.
