The Emeralds release first full-length effort

The Emeralds, a Japanese three piece rock 'n' roll band, released their 1st album called "LOVE IS ROLLING" at Apple iTunes Stores throughout the world. This is their 1st full length album following a mini album and a maxi-single previously released.

The Emeralds has been aggressively promoting themselves not only in Japan but in western countries as well; in fact, they just finished a US tour last month. You can check out their "2008 US God Speed Tour quick review" footage at

And "LOVE IS ROLLING" was released on 12 Aug 2008 for their western fans first from Cattle God Records (www.australiancattlegod.com) based in Australia, and it would be released later in Japan and Korea on 22 Oct 2008. The album was fully mixed and mastered by a gold and platinum awards winning recording engineer, Andy (or Andrew) Heermans from Polywog Recording Company.

We are a Japanese rock 'n' roll trio, calling ourselves "Lovers of the world". Formed in 2002 and in 2004, we decided to challenge the world and gave it a go at South By Southwest (or SXSW) in Texas. The result proved we were indeed qualified to be "LOVERS OF THE WORLD" and since then, we have been playing at SXSW every year.

Our challenge did not stop at SXSW appearance, and we played four times as part of its Japan Nite showcase and toured the states with popular bands like GO!GO!7188, The 50 Kaitenz, Peelander-Z, and Tsu Shi Ma Mi Re.

This year, addition to SXSW and a following tour in Summer, we toured the states in Spring, played at Canadian Music Week (pushed our song up to 18th in a Canadian chart), played in front of 10,000 people in a Korean Summer Festival, and we were also invited by Anime Weekend Atlanta (www.awa-con.com ) just like last year.

We will come back to the states again in Oct for CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival 2008 in New York (www.cmj.com/marathon/ ). We will play on 24 Oct at Lit Lounge with bands such as The Snake Trap, Lick Lick, Lozen, and Good Times Crisis Band.

We are really glad to have our 1st full length album available at iTunes Stores because anyone interested in our music can go to iTunes and buy and start listening to it immediately, regardless of their countries.
