Hurley to auction celebrity corsets to benefit Boarding for Breast Cancer

Celebrity-customized corsets and t-shirts to be auctioned off at Hurley.com this month to benefit Boarding for Breast Cancer


WHAT: Hurley Art Chest online auction at www.hurley.com to feature a fun and fabulous collection of corsets and t-shirts customized by athletes, artists and actors including Amanda Bynes, Jessica Szohr, Stacy Keibler, Denise Richards, Bar Refaeli, Rob Machado, Annalynne McCord, Shanae Grimes, ELLE’s Joe Zee, stylist Jeanne Yang, Sarah Chalke, Selena Gomez, Rachel Griffiths, Emilie de Ravin, Giuliana Rancic, Sally Field, Calista Flockhart, Emily Van Camp and others.

The online auction is now live following the collection’s unveiling at a star-studded Art Chest party in Los Angeles last night. Celebrities at the event included model and face of Hurley’s new ad campaign Bar Refaeli, rapper Eve, Prison Break’s Dominic Purcell, 90210’s Ryan Eggold, singer/songwriter Gavin DeGraw, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicle’s Leven Rembin, actor/singer Jesse McCartney, Sydney White’s Sara Paxton and Hurley team surfers Rob Machado and Kalani Rob.

WHEN: The online auction opens Wednesday, October 15, 2008 and closes Thursday, October 30, 2008

WHY: In support of National Breast Cancer Awareness month and Boarding for Breast Cancer (www.b4bc.org), a non-profit, youth-focused education, awareness, and fundraising foundation which will receive 100% of the proceeds from the auction. Their mission is to increase awareness about breast cancer, the importance of early detection and the value of an active lifestyle. They teach awareness and provide information to empower people who are managing the effects of breast cancer in their lives.
