The Met's "Dr. Atomic" coming live to a theater near you

TRANSMITTED LIVE IN HIGH-DEFINITION TO MORE THAN 440 MOVIE
THEATRES AND PERFORMING ARTS CENTERS NATIONWIDE

EVENT WILL BE SIMULCAST LIVE FROM NEW YORK TO 20 LOS ANGELES AREA MOVIE THEATRES


WHAT: DR. ATOMIC starring Gerald Finley and Sasha Cooke, with Eric Owens and Richard Paul Fink is the third in a series of 11 performances from the Metropolitan Opera that will be transmitted live from New York via satellite into more than 440 U.S. movie theaters. The performance will be shown live in high-definition in movie theaters throughout the U.S. as part of the Met’s LIVE IN HD series in partnership with NCM Fathom. Dr. Atomic is directed by Penny Woolcock and conducted by Alan Gilbert. Dr. Atomic is a new production/Met premiere.

I saw Dr. Atomic and i am ashamed to even call it a oprea. It was so bad i had to leave i just got up me and my friend who i was with and we left. John Adams they say hes the greatest composer of our times if thats true God help modern oprea.

Very strange: I was googling for info on tonight's performance (which I have tickets for) and landed on your blog - you & I just met on Saturday night at the Tropicana.
