There will be a little jam session Wednesday afternoon at the Sierra Madre Farmers' Market. The SMFM is from 3:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesdays in the parking lot behind the shops on the south side of Sierra Madre Blvd., just west of Baldwin Ave. Turn west off Baldwin onto Mariposa and you'll see the tents. It won't take the place of Frank & Joe's and I know it's not convenient for most, but it's something as long as the weather's nice.
The Brombies (with Patrick) have a couple of gigs this week. Thursday, the 11th, they'll be part of a triple header(along with Suzie Glaze & Co, and Fur Dixon) at The Coffee Gallery Backstage in Altadena. For details check www.coffeegallery.com. On Sunday, the 14th, they'll be in concert with High Hills at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center. Details at www.sim-arts.org .
