Brad Paisley to release new album in June

Superstar Brad Paisley is on a roll, with nine consecutive #1 singles to his credit, and with fans ready for more, Paisley is set to release his new album, American Saturday Night, on June 30. The disc marks Paisley’s eighth studio album, including a holiday collection and his most recent release, last year’s mostly-instrumental excursion: the chart-topping Play.

American Saturday Night re-teams Paisley with longtime producer Frank Rogers, with whom he’s worked since the release of his million-selling debut, Who Needs Pictures.

The first single from American Saturday Night – “Then,” co-written by Paisley, Chris DuBois, and Ashley Gorley – was unveiled last night during an invitation-only performance for an enthusiastic audience of industry movers & shakers gathered in Nashville for the annual Country Radio Seminar.

Paisley’s performance of “Then” drew waves of post-show praise from the assembled radio music mavens, including KBEQ Kansas City PD Mike Kennedy who cheered, “If he needed another career song, this would be it! Absolutely amazing!” KILT Houston MD Greg Frey declared, “This is the best song Brad has ever written. I absolutely love it!”

“It’s quite possibly the best song he’s ever done, and that’s saying a lot,” was the reaction from WSOC Charlotte PD D.J. Stout, while KYGO Denver PD Joel Burke can’t wait to get it on the air, proclaiming, “The new Brad song is a smash. We will add it as soon as we get it!”

“Then” will ship to country radio stations this Monday, March 9, with an official airplay impact date of March 23. Fans anxious to latch onto a copy won’t have to wait long, since the digital single for “Then” will be available at online music providers everywhere beginning March 17.

A GRAMMY-winning instrumentalist and the reigning, two-time ACM and CMA Male Vocalist winner with 13 career #1 singles to his credit, Paisley has amassed album sales in excess of 10 million units, including his 2x-Platinum 2005 ACM and CMA Album of the Year, Time Well Wasted.
