Chamber Music Palisades to offer free concert at Caltech

Chamber Music Palisades will give a free chamber music concert on Sunday, April 5, at 3:30 p.m. in Caltech’s Ramo Auditorium. Members of the ensemble include flutist Susan Greenberg, oboist David Weiss, bassoonist Judith Farmer, and pianist Delores Stevens.

The concert will feature works by Quantz, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Dring, and Poulenc.

Founded in 1997 by four citizens of the Los Angeles coastal community of Pacific Palisades, including two professional musicians, Chamber Music Palisades is a non-profit, public benefit corporation dedicated to the promotion and support of classical music. CMP produces professional chamber music concerts, commissions new works (more than ten to date) and provides educational opportunities for young people by performing free concerts in local schools and in local venues for community families.

This event is open to the public, free of charge.

Parking for Ramo Auditorium is located at 332 South Michigan Avenue, Pasadena (south of Del Mar Boulevard). For information, call (626) 395-4652 or, outside the Pasadena area, 1 (888) 222-5832.
