Andy Williams to perform and talk at Caltech

Singer Andy Williams will talk about his new book, “Moon River & Me,” with piano accompaniment, on Wednesday, October 21, at 7 p.m. in Caltech’s Beckman Auditorium. A book signing will follow.

In “Moon River & Me,” Williams shares his beginnings as a young man from Wall Lake, Iowa; his performing with his brothers as The Williams Brothers; and his solo career, in which he charted 18 gold and three platinum albums, headlined at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas for more than 20 years and hosted a popular weekly television variety show.

Williams has been entertaining audiences for nearly 70 years. He has recorded 18 gold and three platinum certified albums. He also owns his own theater, the Moon River Theatre in Branson, Missouri, where he continues to regularly perform.

This event is part of Caltech’s Voices of Vision series, and is presented in collaboration with Vroman’s Bookstore.

This event is open to the public, free of charge.
